CS Impianti has been awarded the contract for the development of multidisciplinary detailed engineering, including modeling, as part of the EPC expansion project for Karachaganak. The project spans 10 months and involves a considerable number of engineering hours.

The project aims to increase the gas production of the plant by gradually installing two gas reinjection compressors (KEP1A and KEP1B) located near the existing structures to utilize the available unused dehydration capacity for KEP1A and the additional dehydration capacity resulting from the installation of a new dehydration package (DRIZOTM) for the KEP1B project, along with additional gas treatment units.
