Project Description:
Karachaganak field produces oil, condensates and natural gas, and is located in the western part of the country, near the city of Aksai.
The project aims to increase the gas production of the plant, through the installation of two gas re-injection compressor in a phased manner (KEP1A & KEP1B) located near the existing facilities in order to utilize the available spare dehydration capacity for KEP1A and the additional dehydration capacity coming from the installation of a new Dehydration Package (DRIZOTM) for KEP1B project and additional gas treatment units.
