C.S. Impianti has been awarded the contract for the development of multi-disciplinary detailed engineering including modelling under the EPC Karachaganak Expansion Project. The project is to be developed over 10 months and involves a considerable number of engineering hours.
The project aims to increase the gas production of the plant, through the installation of two gas re-injection compressor in a phased manner (KEP1A & KEP1B) located near the existing facilities in order to utilize the available spare dehydration capacity for KEP1A and the additional dehydration capacity coming from the installation of a new Dehydration Package (DRIZOTM) for KEP1B project and additional gas treatment units.
